MISSION STATEMENT
The NCE wishes to promote the general awareness of English as an absolute necessity in our modern society, to promote modern, high-quality teaching and learning of English at all levels of Dutch education and therefore to promote professional development of teachers involved in English language tuition in the Netherlands.

We wish to contribute to enhancing educational effectiveness as measured by student success, in terms of practical language skills – stated in European levels - and personal pleasure.

We want to keep our activities closely linked to practitioners in the classroom and to expert organisations. We recognize both the value of experience and tradition and the importance of innovation.
